Tania was born near Florence, Italy — a German mother, an Australian father, and a childhood spent around fashion. Her mother designed for Emilio Pucci. Beauty and craftsmanship weren't a career choice. They were the air she grew up breathing.
At 21, she moved to America alone. "I ran off to America. I had to pretty much relearn everything and reinvent the wheel." No connections. No safety net. Just the same entrepreneurial instinct she says she inherited from her father.
She trained at Paul Mitchell The School in Fayetteville, North Carolina — and won a PBA Beacon Award within months of starting.
Tania spent over a decade at elite salons across the country before she ever put her own name on a door. Not chasing a following. Chasing mastery.
When she finally built her own studio, she built it in Destin, Florida — not New York, not LA — and called it Studio Beige: where luxury meets ethics. Then, in 2021, she launched Tania Crawford EDU, because the one thing nobody else in this industry was teaching stylists was the thing that mattered most: how to actually make money doing it.
I am in the business of making money and teaching people how to make money. Technique. Strategy. Brand. And a circle of women who refuse to play small.
